The Apostle Paul was often very direct with Timothy. In his first letter he said in part, "If anyone does not provide for his relatives and especially for his immediate family he has denied the faith…" I Tim. 5:8 (NIV). While his primary intent no doubt referred to their "daily needs," there may be future provisions to consider as well.
